An engineer by profession I have owned a camera for a long as I can remember…

It was only after joining the Norwich & District Photographic Society nearly 20 years ago that I began to take photography seriously. While landscape photography was my original passion, my interests have since broadened to encompass many aspects of outdoor photography, from dramatic coastlines and countryside scenes to wildlife and nature subjects.
I photograph using Canon full-frame cameras and a range of professional lenses, supported by high-quality filters and tripod systems. My digital workflow centres on Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and the Nik Collection, but for me the greatest satisfaction still comes from holding a finished print for the very first time.
Spending time outdoors with a camera remains at the heart of my photography. Whether exploring the Norfolk coast, travelling elsewhere in the UK, or venturing further afield, I am continually inspired by the changing light, weather and landscape around me.
In recent years, I have also developed a growing passion for studio photography. Working in a controlled environment has allowed me to explore light, form and creativity in new ways, complementing my outdoor work and broadening my photographic vision.
